    Message from the Medical Director

The Vascular Center opened in 2006 when the doctors of our nephrology practice recognized the need for specialized vascular access care for our patients. At the Vascular Center, we support the Fistula First! initiative and have demonstrated that by providing interventional nephrology services. We have improved our patients' quality of life and reduced the rates of infection, hospitalization, access failure and access-related complications. Our outpatient model enables us to provide these services at less than half the cost of hospital-based care, with better outcomes and increased patient satisfaction. Most patients return to dialysis within 24 hours of their procedure.

Patients treated at the Vascular Center benefit from the combined expertise of physicians who are practicing nephrologists with over 25 years of experience in dialysis. Our nursing staff have a combined experience of over 40 years in dialysis care. These professionals understand the complexities of caring for patients on dialysis because we do so every day.
