Managed Centers Exceed 300,000 Patient Encounters

After reaching the milestone of a quarter million patient encounters in January 2009, Lifeline Vascular Access continues to be hailed as the leader in the vascular access industry. Formerly known as RMS Lifeline, Lifeline Vascular Access works with premier physician practices to develop and manage physician-owned outpatient vascular access centers. Created in 1998 to help physicians improve the delivery and coordination of vascular access care to end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, Lifeline Vascular Access remains a catalyst for change in the vascular access industry. Dialysis access procedures performed at the centers include; angiograms, angioplasties, catheter placements, removals and exchanges, fistula maturation and repair, thrombectomies, and vessel mapping for optimal fistula placement. These procedures are performed with success rates of 97% or above, which exceed industry performance benchmarks.
